1.  Fine

This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.  Five Minutes

If she is getting dressed, this means half an hour.  Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.  Nothing

This is the calm before the storm.  This means something, and you should be on your toes.  Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4.  Go Ahead

This is a dare, not permission.  Don’t Do It!

5.  Loud Sigh

This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men.  A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.  That’s Okay

This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man.  That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.  Thanks

A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint.  Just say you’re welcome.  (I want to add in a clause here – This is true, unless she says ‘Thanks a lot’ – that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all.  DO NOT say ‘you’re welcome.’  That will bring on a ‘whatever’.

8.  Whatever

Is a woman’s way of saying F- YOU!

9.  Don’t worry about it, I got it

Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself.  This will later result in a man asking ‘What’s wrong?’.  For the woman’s response, refer to #3 of this list.

Anatomy of the Urban Thug

A common stereotype of the urban thug is the way they dress and compose themselves in public.  If you have seen or met one in person, either from afar or a close distance, you can tell.  Particularly the way an urban thug chooses to wear their pants where it looks as if they are purposely sagging it.

But in this exclusive artist rendition of an urban thug, its not they are purposely sagging their pants.  It is in fact they are genetically different from common folks.  Their entire anatomy is peculiarly different.  But is this artist correct?

The Myth Uncovered?

Logically, this cannot be possible, can it?  A man with a extremely short legs and a elongated upper body.  But then, why else would an urban thug have pants sagging so slow?  It not only prevents one from running away from the police but it can be said many activities can be much more difficult if you your pants are half way down.

Experts chime in with a photo of a real urban thug and explains another possibility.

The Verdict

We will probably never know.  Either the urban thug is genetically different or its actually two midgets stacked on top of each other.  Both cases are plausible and we’ll leave it at that.

I’ve built sand castles at the beach as a kid. Pouring sand into the bucket and adding a bit of water into it so the shape will hold. Dumping it out to create a small scaled tower, so to speak. Piling a bit more sand in my hands and damping it with water to shape it into a mold.  You can relate.

Every year there are new laws.  As citizens, we need to be aware of some of new laws as well as changes to laws.  Couple years ago, in California, it was the law that prohibited drivers and motor operators from making calls on a cell phone without a handset.  Last year was the law prohibiting drivers from text messaging while driving.  Here is a new one and you should avoid at all costs because of the heavy fines involved.

In California , the “Move-over” law become operative on January 1, 2010.

I wanted to let my Medlock Bridge neighbors know about the CA move over law.
My son got a ticket on Pleasant Hill coming back from Wal-Mart. A Duluth
police car (turned out it was 2 police cars) was on the side of the road
giving a ticket to someone else. My son slowed down to pass but did not move
into the other lane. The second police car immediately pulled him over and
gave him a ticket. My son and I had never heard of the law. It is a fairly
new law that states if any emergency vehicle is on the side of the road, if
you are able, you are to move into the far lane.

Please let everyone you know that drives about this new law.

two states, all the other US states (even Canada ) enacted similar kind of
law. New York and DC don’t have this law yet.
