Amazing Sand Castle Sculpture Built Step By Step
There is excitement to behold when you think of creating art through sand. Sand is one of earth’s minerals that is flexible and concrete at the same time. To build it into an amazing sculpture is a task that cannot be done easily.
I’ve built sand castles at the beach as a kid. Pouring sand into the bucket and adding a bit of water into it so the shape will hold. Dumping it out to create a small scaled tower, so to speak. Piling a bit more sand in my hands and damping it with water to shape it into a mold. You can relate.
Deviant Art
This sand sculpture created is beyond anything I’ve seen. I’ve seen sand castles and sand sculptures in the past but this one blows my mind. The sheer scale of it. It’s just intimidating. Add the demon faces creatively sculpted, this is an award winning piece of art!
Take a look at the rest of the pictures and you’ll see what I mean.
- Looks like a wooden pyramid but gives you an idea how big this sand sculpture will be.
- Start piling up sand on the top of the wooden pyramid.
- After piling up some sand to work with; some sculpting is done.
- Adding more sand to a second top layer and more sculpting is done.
- Scaled back, the top of the sand sculpture is taking form. Still a long way to go.
- Piling more sand and more sculpting down to the base of what was a wooden pyramid. Your able to see a face engraved into the sand.
- Its all in the details in this humongous sand sculpture. It's like hell's spawn being recreated.
- More sand is piled but you can see that the top is coming along with vivid detail on the direction this art piece is moving towards. Very dark, very deviant.
- This isn't a miniature piece; this is the scale these artists or working on.
- I wonder what they put in the mix for the sand to make it so stable. The guy is standing on his sculpture.
- The amazing sand sculpture created down from the base. Its transformed from wooden pyramid to awesome art!
- The sand sculpture from the side angle, all the details are there.
- A close up of the two-headed demon sculpted from the sand. Plenty of detail and emotion being displayed.
- Another close up shot of the sand sculpture from another side angle.
- The demon's head straight on.
